The Calm Before the Storm
This was what the sky looked like before Ike arrived. I grabbed my camera, jumped in the car and raced the sun. The sun always sets fastest when you're trying to capture it.

Red Jacket
Outside the mine in Silverton, CO. When you stood in front of the opening you could feel the icy air from inside. It did not make you want to go into the mine, but we did anyway, and it was cold and drippy. It was pretty cool but I never have to go again.Photography by Chelsea Aldrich
